I specialise in psychosomatic counselling and women's psychology, particularly issues with self-esteem and relationships. I initially qualified as a doctor and during my university years I traveled around the world studying psychosocial factors in obstetrics - what affects the way women give birth, how they feel about it, how they feel about infertility etc. This developped into a deeper interest in psychology and I proceeded to a degree in psychology, which complemented my counselling and hypnotherapy diploma.

My main interest remained women's psychology because in women psychological stress is often reflected in their health, particularly in gynaecology. I also like the idea that although the classical medicine might fail to cure a disease (such as chronic pelvic pain) but there is always another way how to deal with it - psychotherapy and counselling.
